Welcome to Car Center. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our website or purchasing vehicles. These terms govern your use of the site, our services, and your relationship with Car Center.


1. Services and Transactions:

a. Vehicle Sales and Financing: Car Center offers vehicles for sale with in-house financing options. By purchasing or applying for financing through our website or in-store, you agree to provide accurate information for payment processing and credit checks. You understand that approval is subject to eligibility and verification.

b. Withdrawal of Services: Car Center reserves the right to withdraw or cancel any services, sales, or agreements at its sole discretion, including if we suspect fraudulent activity, non-payment, or violation of our terms.

c. Payment Terms: All financial transactions are processed through secure channels. You agree to provide complete and accurate financial information when completing a purchase or financing application. Any errors in payment or transaction details are your responsibility.


2. Customer Expectations and Responsibilities:

a. Accuracy of Information: While we make every effort to provide accurate information, Car Center cannot guarantee the completeness or accuracy of all data provided on the website or during the sales process. We are not responsible for typographical errors, pricing mistakes, or misrepresentation of vehicle details.

b. Website Downtime: Car Center makes every effort to maintain the availability of our website and services. However, we do not guarantee continuous access, and we are not liable for interruptions, website downtime, or technological failures beyond our control.

c. Customer Conduct: You agree not to engage in any unlawful activities, including but not limited to, harassment, hate speech, spamming, or illegal actions while interacting with our website or services. Car Center reserves the right to disable or suspend accounts for violations of these terms.


3. Copyright and Intellectual Property:

a. No Liability for Damages: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Car Center will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits or data, resulting from the use or inability to use our website or services.

b. Force Majeure: Car Center will not be held liable for delays or failures in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to, natural disasters, acts of government, or technical malfunctions.

Return and Refund Policy

1. 30-Day Limited Powertrain Warranty:

We offer a 30-day limited powertrain warranty on all vehicles purchased at Car Center. This warranty covers certain mechanical and powertrain components under the following terms:

  • Covered Components: The warranty covers the engine, transmission, and drivetrain components (including the drive shaft, axles, and differential).
     
  • Repairs: The warranty covers repairs related to defects or malfunctions in the engine, transmission, and drivetrain components within the first 30 days of purchase.
     
  • Exclusions: The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage, accidents, damages caused by neglect or misuse, or issues unrelated to the powertrain.
     
  • Maintenance: The warranty is valid only if the vehicle is properly maintained, and all recommended service intervals are followed. Regular maintenance, such as oil changes, is the buyer’s responsibility.
     
  • For full details of the warranty coverage and exclusions, please refer to the 30-Day Powertrain Warranty Agreement provided at the time of purchase.
     

2. No Returns or Refunds:

While we offer a 30-day powertrain warranty for qualifying issues, Car Center does not accept returns or issue refunds for any vehicle under any circumstances. Once the vehicle is purchased, it is the buyer’s responsibility.

  • No Returns: If you change your mind or experience buyer’s remorse, Car Center does not accept returns.
     
  • No Refunds: There will be no refunds issued for any reason after the sale is completed.
     

3. Warranty Claims Process:

If you experience a mechanical failure or issue covered by the powertrain warranty within 30 days of your purchase, please contact us immediately:

  • Step 1: Contact our service department by email at carcenterjoplin@gmail.com or call 417-553-9331 to report the issue.
     
  • Step 2: Provide a description of the issue, and we will arrange for an inspection or repair at our designated service center.
     
  • Step 3: If the issue is covered under the 30-day limited powertrain warranty, we will repair or replace the defective part(s) at no additional cost to you.
     

4. Full Disclosure of Vehicle Condition:

Prior to purchase, all vehicles are inspected, and any known issues or defects are disclosed to the buyer. All vehicles are sold "as-is" with the understanding that the 30-day limited powertrain warranty is the only protection offered post-sale for qualifying issues.

5. Buyer’s Responsibility:

Once the purchase is complete, the vehicle is the responsibility of the buyer. Car Center is not liable for any repairs or maintenance not covered under the 30-day powertrain warranty or for damages that occur after the vehicle leaves our lot. Regular maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and other routine care, is the buyer’s responsibility.

6. FTC Used Car Rule Compliance:

In accordance with the FTC Used Car Rule, all vehicles sold by Car Center come with a Buyer's Guide that will indicate whether the car is sold with a warranty or "as-is." If a vehicle is sold with the 30-day powertrain warranty, this will be clearly stated on the guide, and the buyer will be provided with a written warranty agreement.
